CELO Conference – Supply Chain, Logistics and Legal Challenges

Our firm participated in the CELO Conference, dedicated to logistics, transport and supply chain matters.
This event brought together 170 participants from the transport and logistics sectors, highlighting key operational and legal challenges.
The conference was organized by France Burnand, founder of CELO.
CLERC AVOCATS at the conference
Our firm was listed as a participating law firm.
We took part in:
- the workshops
- around ten one-to-one meetings with companies
We presented ourselves as corporate legal advisers, assisting businesses with:
- contract drafting
- negotiation
- and, where necessary, dispute resolution
in both French and international contexts.
Key legal challenges in the supply chain
The conference focused on the major legal issues affecting supply chains, including:
- business and competition law, particularly commercial relationships within supply chains
- compliance law: duty of care, CSR, and management of social, environmental and human rights risks
- cybersecurity and data protection
- customs law and international trade
- environmental and health law, including product safety
- contract and liability law (contract chains, unforeseeable circumstances, force majeure, breach of contract)
Workshops attended by the firm
Among the eight workshops offered, our firm attended two:
🔹 Workshop 1: Sustainable Procurement
Facilitator: Cédric Le Floch, Director of Public Procurement for Calvados.
This organization is part of the National Procurement Centre, which brings together public sector bodies representing nearly 20,000 members.
🔹 Workshop 2: Customs
Led by Mathieu Schuhl

Meetings with companies
